Recently the Peachland Visitor Centre hosted a FAM (Familiarization) Tour. We invited Tourism Managers and Staff from various Okanagan Visitor Centre’s and the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association – TOTA.
We visited many local attractions, restaurants, wineries, plus pointed out local business in support of our community. Our guests walked away with a wealth of knowledge to share and encourage their visitors to visit our beautiful town of Peachland!

Good Morning Art Lovers,
So excited to share this with you. It is such a dreary time of the year, so I encourage you to visit the gallery to view this spectacular exhibition – it will lift your spirits! Plan a nice lunch out with some friends! The show opens Saturday, Jan. 28th at 10 but the ‘official’ opening is Noon – 3. There will be several of the participating photographers on hand and they love to talk about their work.

Pancakes topped with whipped cream… mmm. At the 50+ Centre on July 31 from 8am – 11am, a full pancake breakfast will be served to adults and children!
Do you have some recyclable materials that you want to dispose of? On August 13 from 10am to 3pm at the Peachland community center, drop off your recyclables free of charge!
Are you interested in the history of Peachland? If so, come to the visitor center in the old yellow school building on beach avenue for a historic tour of our little town! We will walk from the visitor center to the museum whilst taking frequent stops in between to discuss the different landmarks of Peachland’s past and present. The tours are free and donations are welcome.

A collection of oils focusing on forests and their importance to man. This exhibition of 34 paintings pays tribute to these magnificent icons of our past and the impact they have on our lives. It represents a 2 year project and is definitely in the running for one of our favourite exhibitions. Ann Willsie’s most recent accomplishment was her Best of Show award in the 2021 Oasis Exhibition, Central Okanagan Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
